SCOUT EXECUTIVE, GAMEHAVEN COUNCIL
January 2018Â - Present
Served as the Executive Director working closely with the Executive Board for the Gamehaven Council. Directly responsible for staff management, budget development and overall council operations. Representing the council in the community as an active member of Chamber of Commerce and the Nonprofit Consortium. With the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic served as a member of the Olmsted County Cross-Sector COVID Planning Committee, which focused on working with all the community nonprofits in order to have resources reach those in need in the community.
ASSISTANT SCOUT EXECUTIVE, PACIFIC SKYLINE COUNCIL
September 2013Â - December 2018
Serve as Chief Operating Officer working directly with the Scout Executive, Council Commissioner and Cabinet, Council Board VPs for Membership, Program and District Operations for the Pacific Skyline Council. Directly responsible for operations and management of Foster City and Palo Alto Service Centers and the Palo Alto Scout Shop. Staff of 16 includes eight commissioned staff, six support staff and two rangers. Areas of direct responsibility include Membership and Field Operations, Family Friends of Scouting, Annual Unit Fundraising Campaign and Commissioners Cabinet.
SR. DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, HUDSON VALLEY COUNCIL
June 2010Â - August 2013
Served as the primary development officer working directly with the Scout Executive as a member of the council management team. Working with the Council Board VP of Development on daily operations of the council Legacy Campaign, which included a multi-year Friends of Scouting Campaign, Capital Campaign and an Endowment Campaign. The Legacy Campaign also included building projects centered around the Council Service Center and recognition events for Second Century Society.  Also responsible for Annual Friends of Scouting Campaign and eight Special Events including three county wide Distinguished Citizen dinners, Golf Outing, Sporting Clay, Eagle Scout/Alumni Event and three community specific events.
PROGRAM DIRECTOR, NARRAGANSETT COUNCIL
March 2005 - May 2010
Worked directly with the Director of Field Service and served as a member of the council management team. Working with the board VP of Program and VP of Camp Promotion was responsible for 11 weeks of Day Camp in six unique locations, two resident camps (a Cub Resident and traditional Boy Scout Resident Camp), weekend family camp and about 25 weekend events, both council sponsored and in partnership with community organizations.
DISTRICT EXECUTIVE AND SR. DISTRICT EXECUTIVE, CRADLE OF LIBERTY COUNCIL
September 2000 - February 2005
Served two distinct communities. The first was a suburban/rural community with pockets of urban. The second was a  completely urban community. Worked to develop effective nominating committees in both districts in order to diversify the committees to better meet the needs of the communities being served. Worked with both district committees and commissioner staffs in order to provide quality service to our units and chartered partners.
